Prototypes For Complexity

Based on Serero Architects canopy pattern design, we have come up with a cross shaped system that can act as an architectural screen.  This simple cross shape can be turned, rotated and flipped while maintaining continuity, and potentially producing a more complex and unpredictable pattern.

Project Inspiration/Goals

Using Serero Architects competition entry for an auditorium and movie theater in Saint Cyprien, France as a model for inspiration we have set out to design and fabricate a cladding system that will be able to achieve a similar kind of density and variation.
